Sasha Taylor, LMFT, CEDS

My name is Alexandria “Sasha” Taylor and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #99309) in Claremont, California. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and trauma therapist. I provide eating disorder treatment, EMDR therapy, perinatal mental health, anxiety and mood disorder treatment, and trauma therapy to adults and teens in the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, and Orange County. I also provide telehealth services to those unable to travel.

I am an empathetic, compassionate and understanding therapist. I focus on helping my clients feel safe and comforted while exploring their unique concerns. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients overcome their difficult symptoms, behaviors, relationship issues and other challenges interfering with their ability to live healthy, happy and meaningful lives. I have advanced training in EMDR Therapy and I am Certified in both EMDR and Brainspotting Therapy. These treatment approaches enable me to efficiently identify and resolve core issues allowing for long-term healing.

I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, Emotional Eating, Orthorexia, Exercise Addiction and Disordered Eating), PTSD, Trauma, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Body image issues, Depression, perinatal mood disorders and reproductive mental health. Helping clients find their voice and identification of their inherent self-worth, while moving towards growth and healing is my ultimate goal as a therapist. I am particularly passionate about influencing body positivity through the Health at Every Size Movement (HAES), as well as working closely with the Binge Eating Disorder community.

This includes helping those who are pregnant, new moms, or those struggling with miscarriage, or birth trauma navigate difficult mental health and life transitions. As a mother, I understand how difficult the transition and adjustment can be.

I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of La Verne. I have experience with a variety of populations and settings including domestic violence shelters, school-based play therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, early childhood sexual abuse, dual diagnosis treatment centers, and Eating Disorder IOP and PHP programs.
